About Golden Pony Designs...
Inspired by the golden horses prized by the vaqueros of early California, silversmith Serena Kunic Gurley found the name appropriate to combine her interest in traditional silver engraving with her love of golden horses.
Serena started engraving at 18 years of age after taking a class from Johnny Wyerts in Alpine, Texas. She discovered engraving was an ideal outlet for her artistic abilities, and has been doing it ever since.
